EcoFlow Delta 3 Max Manual- EcoFlow DELTA 3 (hereinafter referred to as “DELTA 3”, or “the power station”) is a power station with a LiFePO₄ battery and a capacity of 1024Wh. It has multiple outputs, including standard AC ports, USB-A ports, USB-C ports, 12V DC ports and an Extra Battery port to support various appliances and devices.

The variety of charging options allows you to easily switch between different methods based on your actual needs.

Appearance

1Main power button ¹
Power on/off
Press the button once to turn on the power station. Long-press the button for 2 seconds to turn it off. Screen on/off
After the power station is turned on, press once to turn on or off the display screen. Reset IoT connections
While the power station is off, long-press the button until the screen displays the power-on animation twice to reset the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections.
2AC output control button ²
Press the button once to enable or disable AC power output.
3Display screen
Displays operating status.
4USB-C output ports
Supplies power to charge phones, laptops, game consoles, or other devices.
5AC output ports
Supplies power to AC loads (household appliances or other equipment). The appearance and specification of AC output and input ports vary according to your local standards.
6Heat vent
Dissipates the internal heat.
7USB output control button ²
Press once to enable or disable the USB-C and USB-A output ports.
8USB-A output ports
Supplies power to charge phones, laptops, game consoles, or other devices.

9Solar/Car charging input port
Connects the power station to solar panels or a vehicle power source (cigarette lighter socket or on-board battery charger) for charging.
10Extra battery port
DC power supply
 Connects the power station to an EcoFlow smart device to supply power.DC charging
 Connects the power station to an EcoFlow alternator charger, smart generator, or microinverter for charging.Battery capacity expansion
 Connects the power station to an EcoFlow Smart Extra Battery to expand the battery capacity.
11Protective cover
Protects against liquids and dust during long-term storage.
12AC charging input port
Connects the power station to an AC power source (wall outlet or generator) for charging.
1312V DC output control button ²
Enables or disables the 12V DC output ports.
1412V DC output port (cigarette lighter)
Supplies power to 12V DC loads (automotive refrigerators or other devices).
1512V DC5521 output ports
Supplies power to 12V DC loads (routers, security cameras, effects pedals, or other devices).

Main power button ¹
The indicator on the main power button will flash white when the power station is performing a firmware update.

AC / USB / 12V DC output control button ²
The indicator on the output control button will flash white when abnormal power output is detected. Please try the following steps to re-enable it.

  • Press the button again.
  • Remove and re-plug the power cord of the affected appliance(s);
  • Upgrade the power station’s firmware via the EcoFlow app.

1Wi-Fi
On: Wi-Fi connection successful.

Flashing: Wi-Fi connected to the power station is not available.

Off: Wi-Fi disconnected.

2Bluetooth
On: Bluetooth connection successful.

Flashing: Bluetooth pairing in progress.

Off: ① Wi-Fi is connected and Bluetooth is disconnected. ② Bluetooth is disconnected because it is turned off on your phone.

3Self-powered
On: Self-powered work mode is enabled in the EcoFlow app.
4Backup Reserve
On: Backup Reserve level is set in the EcoFlow app.
5TOU Mode
On: TOU (Time of use) mode is enabled in the EcoFlow app.
6Scheduled Tasks
On: At least one scheduled task is configured in the EcoFlow app.
7Storm Guard
On: Storm Guard mode is enabled in the EcoFlow app. Ensure the Wi-Fi is connected, and the power station is connected to grid power to quickly top up.

※ Scheduled AC charging and solar/car charging tasks are disabled under these conditions.

8Output Port Memory
On: Output Port Memory is enabled. When the power station is turned off, undergoes a firmware upgrade, or reaches the discharging level, it stores the current output state before it powers down. Upon being turned on, completing the firmware upgrade, or exceeding the discharging level, it automatically restores all outputs.

※ The power station will not restore an output if that output port is automatically turned off due to its standby time or if it was manually turned off by pressing its corresponding control button.

9Disable Grid Bypass
On: AC bypass output is disabled in the EcoFlow app. Now, AC power will come from the power station instead of the grid, even when there is still AC input from the grid.
10UPS Indicator
On: The UPS function is available/active.
11Fan Status
On: The ventilation fan is running.

Flashing: Abnormal fan status.

12Generator Auto On/Off
On: The automatic start/stop of the connected generator has been set up in the EcoFlow app. This feature is only applicable to an EcoFlow Smart Generator connected to this power station via the Extra Battery port.

On: Displays total input power.
2AC Input
On: The port is physically connected and has power input.
3Solar Input / Car Input
On: The port is physically connected and has power input.

Flashing:
1. Indicates that low light protection has been triggered, or
2. Indicates overvoltage or undervoltage.

4Extra Battery Input/Output
On: A compatible EcoFlow product (EcoFlow Smart Extra Battery, EcoFlow Smart Generator, etc) is connected via the Extra Battery port.
5Charging Status
On: The power station is charging.
6Total Output Power
On: Displays total output power.
7USB-C Output
On: The USB-C ports are enabled.
8USB-A Output
On: The USB-A ports are enabled.
912V DC Output
On: The Cigarette Lighter and DC5521 ports are enabled.
10AC Output
On: The AC output ports are enabled.
11Frequency
On: Displays operating AC power frequency (50/60 Hz).

4. Battery Level Details

1Charging/Discharging Limit
On: The charging limit (green) or discharging limit (red) is set in the EcoFlow app.
2Remaining Charging/Discharging time
On: Displays the remaining charging or discharging time.
3Battery Level
On: Displays current battery level.

5. Error Message

1High Temperature Warning
Flashing: High temperature protection is triggered. Stop the operation and place the power station in a location away from heat sources with good ventilation.
The alarm will disappear once the power station temperature returns to normal operating levels.
2Battery Error
Flashing: An error has occurred. Check the EcoFlow in-app instructions for troubleshooting.
3Error Code
On: An error has occurred. Check the EcoFlow in-app instructions for troubleshooting.
4Low Temperature Warning
Flashing: Low temperature protection is triggered. Move the power station to a warmer location to ensure usage within the appropriate temperature range. The warning will disappear once the power station temperature returns to normal operating levels.
5Overload Warning
Flashing: Overload protection is triggered. Disconnect some devices from the power station to decrease the overall power output. The warning will disappear once the power output returns to its usual level.

Buzzer

The power station’s buzzer continues to alarm (beep three times per second) when a severe port malfunction is detected.

Please stop using the power station immediately, remove all input or output connections, and contact EcoFlow Customer Service for troubleshooting.

Getting Started

1. Power On/Off

  • Power On
    Press the button once to turn on the power station.
  • Power Off
    Long-press the button for 2 seconds to turn it off.
  • Screen On/Off
    After the power station is turned on, press once to turn on or off the display screen.

  1. The power station can’t be turned off via the main power button when it has a charging input. Please unplug the charging cable first.
  2. If you still can’t turn off the power station, please disconnect the Bluetooth connection with other devices (e.g. generator) and try again.
