I’ve been really impressed with this product so far but I’ve only been out camping with it a few times so far.

I did a lot of research on this item, including watching many YOUTUBE videos before purchasing. It performs as advertized. I use this at my hunting camp to charge items, run my Delta washing machine, ice machine, setc. Easy to use. My camp runs on solar (self installed 6kw panels, 20K batteries, several 24volt charge controllers & inverters (2.4kw, MPP SOLAR/CHARGER inverter, etc.) but this generator enables me to carry it around away from camp and do work. No longer lugiing my 2000 Honda generator around. Good value for the price, which when I purchased in the Fall of 2020 was $1,078, including tax.

I recommend this as a home office power supply. I was looking for backup power for my home office. I did my research and chose the EF ECOFLOW portable power station because of the UPS ability. This gave me the ability to connect 2 tv monitors, a laptop, a light and my internet and wi-fi and change my EF Ecoflow power station. I tested it and it work as advertised. The real test came when my home power went out and I was able to test the UPS and again it worked as advertised. My home power was out for over 4 hours and I was able to continue to work, have internet meeting and my team member was not aware that my home power was not working. If you need an UPS portable power station and EF Ecoflow Portable Power Station Delta is the one for you.

    SUMMARY
Just found out some great news about another unexpected capability of my EcoFlow Delta 1260Wh portable power station. In summary I used it to power up and fully operate the 13,500 BTU air conditioner (A/C) in my RV travel trailer. The A/C unit operated at full power Max setting for 53 minutes! More details and photos follow below. (Note: this test was started near dusk, so you’ll notice some photos begin to show a darker background as time progresses).

    THE TEST
My RV travel trailer is a brand new 2021 Gulf Stream Vintage Cruiser 19ERD, 23 feet long from rear bumper to A-frame hitch coupler in front. The travel trailer power cable uses a standard 30A 3-prong RV connector so I added a connector adapter at the end so it could plug into the standard 15A 3-prong household connector that’s on the EcoFlow Delta, see photos. Then I went into the travel trailer and turned on the A/C fan first, then the A/C compressor, then set both to maximum levels. And within a couple of minutes very cool air was being blown out of the A/C unit and into the travel trailer interior.

    THE RESULTS
The EcoFlow Delta was charged to 98% when I started this process and it kept going all the way down to 0% about 53 minutes later. During this time the EcoFlow Delta display showed varying power usage in the 1400W to 1500W range, which equates to current usage in the 12A range (P = I x V). The EcoFlow Delta percent remaining charge decreased over time as expected. And as the time approached 53 minutes, the A/C unit still operated at full power even at 0% remaining charge! (for about 1 minute, then the EcoFlow Delta shut down, see photos).

    THE REASON
I was somewhat surprised, but nonetheless very glad to see this. Typically a 13,500 BTU RV A/C unit requires an extra power surge just to start up the compressor, more than what a 15A service can provide (that’s what the EcoFlow Delta provides, e.g., 1800W / 120V = 15A). Yet the EcoFlow Delta did it, the A/C unit started up and operated at full Max settings. And this is because of the 3300W surge rating of the EcoFlow Delta, which was able to provide the extra temporary power surge needed to start the A/C unit. Once started, the A/C power requirement decreases to the steady state 1400-1500W range as noted above.

    CALCULATION
Here’s the calculation to predict how long the EcoFlow Delta should theoretically run the RV A/C. It was 98% charged when I started, so that means 0.98 x 1260Wh = 1235Wh of available energy. Let’s assume the RV A/C was using 1450W on average throughout the whole time it was running. (Note: it was varying up and down within 1400-1500W but let’s assume an average of 1450W, which is half way in between). Then theoretically it should last about 1235Wh / 1450W = 0.85h x 60m/h = 51m = 51 minutes. That’s fairly close to the 53 minutes it actually lasted during my test. So doing this type of calculation will provide a rough estimate of how long your appliance will last when using the EcoFlow Delta.

    CONCLUSION
This shows that I can use the EcoFlow Delta to run my RV A/C unit for short periods when I don’t want to unload and start up my 100 lb 3400W external portable generator. This could be a time when we stop for lunch on the side of the road in the middle of a hot day while traveling.

Yeah, I really like my EcoFlow Delta, it works great!

Fast shipping and handling and a product that works right out of the box that’s what we got!
The Ecoflow Delta is in our opinion the best choice if you need peace of mind and electrical power to go with it. Southern California Edison’s outages have lessened over the years but still are a problem for us, same as our vacation home and survivalist camp in Sicily, Italy, but with our acquisition of the Delta we are definitely more optimistic and feel more secure to get us not just thru the blackouts but also to at some point reach an (Off-Grid) life with hopefully zero environmental impact.
Our first steps are made and we hope others will follow our lead!

This is a fast charging battery generator. I charged it to 100% power in a little more than an hour. I plugged in my side by side refrigerator, which uses a lot of amps, and it ran for ten hours straight with no problems. I then recharged it back to 100% and really put it to a test by washing a load of clothes. With all the amp spikes that a washer makes ( up to 675 amps several times during the cycles) it never faltered, although the cooling fans did come on several times to cool it off. I couldn’t be happier with this generator. It will charge from a 12 volt source, solar panels, or a 120 volt source like your house outlet or a gas generator.
The 6 120 volt outlets are a little funky as they don’t use a grounding plug. To use more than three of them at a time, you’ll need to buy some three prong to two prong 120 volt adapters.
Other than this problem, I am very pleased with this generator backup source, even though it is VERY expensive! I hope it will last as long as advertised.
